1992 Mustang Hatchback
Mustang was first introduced in 1979 and in 1992, three Mustang models were available. One among them was 1992 two door hatchback. It had body style of LX trim and a powerful V8 engine. It had a new dome lamp as an added feature along with new moldings. For car’s safety, it had rear shoulder belts along with a side airbag.
1992 Mustang Hatchback is powered by 2.3 liter L4 SOHC 8 valves engine. It has torque of 135@2600, rear-wheel drive, 5 speed manual transmission and optional 4-speed automatic transmission. It comes with front disc/rear drum brakes, standard power steering, independent front suspension and solid axle rear suspension. It comes with Fox chassis that still is better than the competition in terms of value and performance.
1992 Mustang Hatchback has a stylish body with stainless steel tubular headings along with steel exhaust. It has tight headlamps, circular fog lights, rear wing, ground effects package, rounded hood along with level rear window. It comes in various colors viz. Titanium Frost Clearcoat Metallic, Wild Strawberry Metallic, Black Clearcoat, etc.
1992 Mustang Hatchback comes with sporty seats, specially positioned brake pedals and accelerator, central console, interval wipers, and tachometer. This car is available with various options like a tie-down cargo net, air conditioning, power locks and windows, seven band graphic equalizer, dual remote mirrors, sunroof, speed control, rear defrost, and AM/FM stereo with cassette.
In 1992, more than 40,000 Mustang Hatchback cars were produced. With decreasing sales, Ford, the company that brought this model of car, started designing new model.
